The frames are then taken to our covering
workshop where the covering takes place. Firstly the frames are bound
with cotton tape so that we can stitch to it.
Following that the lining is put in, this can either be a pleated
lining or a balloon lining (fitted) and can be in any material, we
usually use Satin.
From there the tops are put on. These can be put into two types,
pleated or fitted. We carry an extensive range of silks in stock or we
can use material supplied by the customer.
Using these techniques we believe we can produce the highest quality
lampshades available in the world.
We have recently moved to larger
premises and can now offer all types of lighting and furniture including a
bespoke service.
